I completed my hot stone massage training before the pandemic, and then I had my maternity leave with Sid. So, it's been amazing to practise this again and to get myself back on track with this soothing treatment.
Particularly during the winter months, I find this treatment so effective in warming my muscles, relieving deep muscle tension and also stimulating our circulation and metabolism.
Whether you prefer lighter pressure and find the hot stones relaxing and soothing, or you enjoy the more intense relief the stones can bring through firmer deep tissue pressure, it might be worth adding hot stones to your next treatment.
